ChargeGuard® CG-MP

The ChargeGuard® automatic timer switch extends vehicle battery life by preventing excessive discharge.  The unit adds the convenience of turning your equipment or computer on and off.  The switch's built-in sensors automatically turn equipment on when the engine is started, and equipment will stay on for a pre-programmed amount of time when the engine is turned off.  The ChargeGuard® switch installs quickly and easily with a variety of sensing options and comes complete, there is nothing else to buy.

Complete Voltage Protecion:
• Low voltage protection:  Turns equipment off if voltage drops to 11 volts for 15 minutes.  Below 10 volts, the unit turns itself off to further protect  the battery.
• High voltage protection:  Shuts equipment down at 18 volts to  protect from an erratic voltage regulator or an improper jump-start.
• The unit will not operate when voltage is reversed.  No damage will result from an improper installation or jump-start.

Pro-Series PriorityStart! is specially designed for easy installation in  Fleet, Utility and Public Service vehicles. PriorityStart! is a computerized “switching” system protecting battery voltage and starting power. If battery voltage goes below 11.9 with the engine off, it automatically disconnects the load and the battery voltage immediately recovers. To start the vehicle just step on the brake pedal, power is automatically reconnected. Designed to handle 1000 cranking amps. PriorityStart! operates only when needed, providing automatic protection. The first time a battery goes dead it looses up to half its service life and using portable battery chargers/boosters, dangerous jumper cables or a tow truck means you’ve already had a dead battery and done irreparable damage.
